For more than three years, Anton and Emil Tapani have been dedicated BriodLights ambassadors — two brothers whose passion for heavy transport and iconic truck builds has made them standouts in the Nordic trucking scene. Operating Tapanis Entreprenad AB, a family business now in its fourth generation, the brothers move through the tough environments in northern Scandinavia with trucks as bold as their heritage. And on every build, BriodLights plays a central role.

“GOLD DIGGER” – TAPANIS LATEST STAR BUILD

Their latest creation, the gold-themed Scania “Gold Digger”, is impossible to miss. The front is packed with ten Olympus 2.0 driving lights, delivering a sharp, wide and powerful beam. With up to 12,400 lumens in boost mode and an impressive reach of 844 meters at 1 lux, Olympus ensures exceptional clarity on long-haul night routes. At the rear, the trailer is fitted with a NEX Work Light Bar with integrated warning light, providing both work illumination and attention-grabbing visibility when maneuvering in tight or hazardous environments.

“The Unknown Soldier” – A Tribute Reinforced by Light

Perhaps their most emotionally significant build is the Scania 770S “The Unknown Soldier” – a tribute to the Finnish soldiers who fought in the Winter War, including Anton and Emil’s own grandfather, Yrjö Ojanen. Originally equipped with BriodLights ICE-X Driving Lights, the truck now runs a full setup of Olympus driving lights, solidifying the brothers’ trust in our latest-generation optics.

“THE GODFATHER” – a tribute to classic film culture

Emil’s Scania 660S 8×4 “The Godfather” – a heavy-duty tow and transport truck inspired by classic film culture – also relies on Olympus driving lights. With its combination of wide-angle optical enhancement and long-distance reach, the lighting system supports the complex, often large-scale loads the brothers handle across northern Sweden and Finland.

The Escort Vehicle – Safety and Visibility for Every Mission

No heavy transport operation is complete without an escort vehicle. The Tapani team’s pilot car is equipped with ICE-X driving lights and a Horizon LED warning light bar, the award-winning ultra-slim bar with 13 flash patterns, designed for maximum visibility with minimal air resistance. Often driven by the well-known trucking personality Angelica Larsson, the escort vehicle ensures that every Tapani transport is seen long before it’s reached.

Tapanis Entreprenad AB traces its origins to the early 1900s, when their ancestor Uno Tapani purchased the first taxi in Muodoslompolo. Since then, every generation has expanded the business – from taxis, to buses, to timber trucks, and now to special heavy transport across the Nordic region. Emil and Anton represent the fourth generation – where outstanding lighting is not decoration, but a necessity.
