WIST TRUCK MEET x BRIOD 2026
WIST AND BRIOD UNITE FOR TRUCK COMMUNITY EVENT
Wist Last & Buss and BriodLights is taking the next step in building the truck community
with the launch of the first-ever Wist Truck Meet x BRIOD. The event will take place
on May 9 at Wist Last & Buss in Luleå, bringing together hauliers,
drivers and truck enthusiasts from across the region.
Wist Truck Meet has been a well-established meeting point for the truck community for several years, and 2026 marks the fifth edition of the event. What’s new this year is the collaboration with BriodLights, a partnership that aims to elevate the experience with a stronger focus on lighting and community.
“We’re really excited to have BriodLights on board for Wist Truck Meet. We’ve had a great relationship with Abkati for years, so this partnership felt like a natural step. Doing this together gives us the chance to make the truck meet bigger, better and more exciting than ever.” – Johan Zörestam, Business Developer at Wist Last & Buss AB
More Competition Categories and Bigger Prizes Than Ever
The Wist x Briod Truck Meet is open to trucks of all brands and models and takes a clear step forward this year with an expanded competition format. For 2026, the number of competition categories is increased, giving more trucks the chance to stand out and be part of the experience.
Along with the expanded format, participants can expect better prizes than ever before, reflecting the ambition behind this year’s event and the new partnership between Wist and BriodLights. The goal is to make the competition more engaging, more inclusive and an even bigger part of the overall truck meet experience.
“Wist is an important partner for Abkati, and the truck community is central to BriodLights. Bringing our shared interests together to create a fun festival with great prizes is something we’re truly excited about. Visitors can expect a really great day.”
– Anja Örnberger, Brand Manager Briod
